This long, printed gown is part of Maison Rabih Kayrouz's 2019 spring summer runway collection "Yalla", as in "Let's go". For this season, the Paris-based designer wanted to capture how wanderlust can inspire people to step out of their comfort zone and dress in differently. Cut from tafetta, a fabric which allows for the playful use of volume, this gown is printed with horizontally striped raspberries on vines. The material is inverted at the bottom of the skirt and wrapped from the front to the back where it is gathered at the hip, revealing intense green interior colors. This twisting also creates unique slits and exposed sides. At the back of the sleeveless bodice there is a golden zipper.
