Dice Kayek

For more than two decades, Turkish-label Dice Kayek has been making deluxe and wearable garments with an aesthetic all its own. The success of this brand is owed in large part to its philosophy: constructed and subtle tailoring where bespoke pieces are brought to life with precise form and the utmost attention to detail. Founded in 1992 by ESMOD Paris graduate Ece Ege, the label received immediate recognition. Shortly thereafter, Ege was lauded by Women's Wear Daily and Vogue Italia, presented at the Seoul Fashion Week on the invitation of the Korean government, became a member of the English : French Federation of Fashion and of Ready-to-Wear Couturiers and Fashion Designers, became the Artistic Director of the Japanese fashion house Hanae Mori and the Turkish contemporary ready-to-wear brand Machka, received the ‘Femme en Or’ fashion award, and presented an exhibition to celebrate the year of Turkey in France at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (which became a traveling exhibition shown at the Istanbul Modern Museum and the Amsterdam Museum). More recently, Dice Kayek was the winner of the third edition of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Jameel Prize.
