Born in Beirut, Lebanon and raised in Saudi Arabia, designer Dina El Jisr divided her early adulthood between Paris, London, and Lebanon. Spending time in these vastly differing environments gives her a unique and diverse perspective on women, which she effortlessly incorporates into her work. Her personal design ethos involves deconstructing classic shapes and garments to create a modern aesthetic grounded in traditional symbolism. Though beginning her career working in jewelry making, Dina has seamlessly transitioned into dressmaking as well. Indeed, one can see that her garments receive as much care and attention as a precious stone. Dina holds a BA from London's prestigious Central Saint Martins school of fashion and design, as well as a degree in Gemology from the Gemology Institute of America.
