Giambattista Valli is the definition of contemporary couture. Since launching his couture collection in 2011, he is already recognized as one of the key figures of Paris's Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. Valli's collections are celebrated for their romantic fantasy mixed with curved shapes, flowing materials and rounded hems. The cuts are often fitted to enhance the silhouette. Pastel shades and vibrant tones, punctuated here and there with abstract prints, are all part of Valli's signature approach. Each piece is meticulously crafted, with decadent fabrics and impeccable tailoring. Born in Rome and based in Paris, Valli studied fashion and illustration in Rome and London. He is a seasonal designer who worked at Capucci, Krizia, Fendi and Emanuel Ungaro. Valli launched his first collection, and eponymous house, in 2005.
